UN PERCORSO LUNGO 20 ANNI
The history and experiences of Aermatica3D began about 20 years ago by a group of engineers with experience in the Aeronautics and Aerospace sector.
The Aermatica team was the first to be authorized by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority to fly a drone under 25 kg in Italy and the first to be authorized to fly in critical scenarios, both in industrial contexts, as in the case of ” ENEL electricity production plant, which in the urban area, as on the occasion of the Milan derby at San Siro in 2014.
Forerunners of the era of civil drones in Italy, Aermatica has designed its drones with an aeronautical approach, thus contributing to essential innovations such as collective pitch rotors for multirotor drones.
The investment of an industrial group from Como in 2016 led Aermatica3D to a new and renewed industrial project, characterized by continuous growth and the development of numerous projects, carried out for clients of international importance, and by the achievement of numerous awards such as the one obtained in 2018 by EIMA (the most important Agriculture Fair in Europe), which awarded Aermatica3D’s technological innovation for its kits and drones designed for agriculture, or by the more recent Olimpolli project, also developed thanks to the contribution of Aermatica3D, aimed at assisted pollination of olive trees and presented in 2019 in the Senate to the Agriculture and Agri-food Production Commission by Engineer Paolo Marras, CEO of Aermatica3D.
Aermatica3D is DJI Enterprise Dealer in Italy and System Integrator of DJI technologies and thus develops applications based on DJI SDK (both Onboard SDK and Mobile SDK).
Aermatica3D is also a Dealer HEXAERO in Italy, becoming a system integrator and developer of solutions based on Flight Controller Pixhawk using open source software suite and the Elistair, manufacturer of tethered systems for drones internationally.
